is there a difference between insant yeast and reagular bread machine yeast?

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/pizza-pizzas-recipe/index.html

what about active to just reagular
and fresh to regular?
sorry one more thin how much yeast is one package

Answer by Doughboy
No the bread machine yeast is the same.
the difference would be if you had Fresh yeast compared to instant, then you would need to adjust the recipe, but in that case your good to go.

Edit:
Active dry yeast, and Regular are the same when classifying them both as instant Yeast.

Fresh yeast however is different, Instant yeast is more potent and concentrated. So if a recipe was asking for 14g’s fresh Yeast, you would do 7 g’s Active dry yeast.

Edit: Couldn’t tell you off hand, each package varies. There is a 150gs of fresh yeast in each package. Couldn’t say for instant.
